Part of a series of works of still life on colour fields, combining realism and abstraction with a pop art influence. 'No 33' features white cosmos flowers on a palette of mixed muted and bright colours - pale blue, cream and soft brown, alongside mauve, blue, greens and tan. Painted on wooden board, small sections of the wood have been left unpainted for a beautiful textural element. (Note they are still sealed)
